Congratulations. Good post. I was interested to learn that they actually enjoy follow up querying from a writer submitting a new book. I don't think many writers starting out realize that.
Lovely Theresa! I tried to register - but can't find "Great Britain" or "United Kingdom" or England or UK on the drop down box for country so cancelled the registration and returned here! LOL! Although I have a suspicion I registered a couple of years ago... but can't remember now! LOL!
I really like how the agents featured over at Writer's Digest are willing to nurture and foster a writing talent over many books so long as it's in the type of genre they represent. I like that it's all about relationships!
Glad to that they are optimistic about the publishing industry being quite robust in these hard times! Take care x
I didn't realize that agents were okay with being queried on several projects, but I guess it makes sense if they're open to seeing what progress you've made on the writing journey. Good questions.
Congratulations! And those were some good questions. Interesting what they won't represent.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That's some good exposure.
