Short and Sweet

“Fantasies are more than substitutes for unpleasant reality; they are also dress rehearsals, plans. All acts performed in the real world begin in the imagination.”

- Barbara Grizzuti Harrison

Brooke R. Busse has interviewed me about writing fantasy. Please visit her BLOG. It’s short and sweet.

I hope you're all having a wonderful, warm weekend.

  7. great interview theresa! I love that you're a fellow fantasy writer--and that you write with a cat on your lap. My cat muffin insists on making my lap her bed particularly when I'm working in the home office.

  9. @ The Words Crafter, I'm actually not a fan of SPEW. It was my biggest problem with book 4 because it dragged it down. Not to say I don't agree with elf's rights.

@ Emy, thanks! Hope you enjoyed it.

@ L'Aussie, I'm back to daily subbing. Not ideal, but okay so far. Thanks for catching the interview.

    @ Sharon, thank you!

@ Saumya, it's interesting to hear each writer's process. Between location, music, handwriting or typing, panster or plotter, we're all different.

@ Old Kitty, thanks. I'm you loved my short and sweet interview.

@ Choices, I'm glad you want to read my short story. Thanks.

@ Nutschell, when I have a cat on my lap and the sun on my back, life really doesn't get better than that. I like your name "cat muffin".

@ Nas, I'm sorry you had the flu. I hope you're on the mend.

  14. @ LTM, I heard some people had snow yesterday. Glad it wasn't here!

@ Bru, glad you like the quote. Thanks for reading the interview.

@ Robyn, cat makes wonderful muses. Mine is sitting on my lap right now.

@ Missed Periods, thank you for complimenting my blog and writing. I love your blog. You mentioned you're trying to turn your blog into something else. I wish you success.

  15. Well that is a scary quote. If my imagination is a dress rehearsal, I'm in trouble :)

Catching up after doing taxes :(
